InterTel Axxess Version 10

Increased Network Capacity
The total voice network capacity has now increased from 64 to 99 nodes.

Confirmation Tone played by a Call Routing Announcement (CRA)
When an external caller is transferred to a CRA a confirmation tone can be played at the beginning of the CRA message. There is a new System Flag called ‘Disable ConfirmationTone’ which can be enabled / disabled. By default this is disabled and incoming callers hear a Confirmation Tone prior to the CRA playing.

Displays Caller ID Name and Number Enhancement
Provides a station flag which allows adjustment on the endpoint display for an incoming CO call to toggle between the Callers Name (Alpha tagging) and Calling Line Identity(CLI), or just the callers CLI. By using system feature code 379 you can toggle through the options.

InterTel Axxess Version 9.1

S8602 IP Softphone Support.
Axxess v9.1 supports the S8602 IP Softphone which has a screen-based interface that works just like a telephone keypad. This enables mobile workers to make and receive calls just like they were sitting in an office using a traditional telephone.

Network Address Translation (NAT).
This enhancement is designed to allow an Axxess to reside behind a firewall using a statically (permanently) mapped Public IP address to allow IP Endpoints to connect over the Internet.

Automatic Network Address Translation (NAT) detection for IP Endpoints.
Users can ‘plug and play’ their IP Endpoints when moving them to remote locations such as a home office or temporary location.

Call Data Logging.
Already a well received enhancement for 5000 Series users, Axxess v9.1 allows users to view and dial from lists of missed, received, and dialled calls, accessed on-screen through the easy to navigate Endpoint display. By default, all users can see the last 10 entries in each category, configurable to up to 20.

Intelligent Directory Search.
This feature improves searching for names in the directory by allowing the user to press one number for each letter rather than several. Each key would represent several letters (e.g. the 2 key would represent A, B, C, and 2). As keys are pressed, several possible matches are visible on the endpoint display.
